Clay Soliday

Clay has been treasure hunting since the early 1970’s. He loves to shallow water hunt, hunt for caches, and find lost items for people. He has been the past president of the Northwest Treasure Hunters Club in Spokane for several years. He has chaired the Annual Father’s Day Hunt many times and is one of the co-chairmen for 2021’s Golden Jubilee Hunt. Clay was one of the founders of the Troy Shadow Metal Detecting Company. While they didn’t stay in business long enough, they produced arguably the best detector of that time period. Clay loves to travel with his detector. He has detected in Germany, England, the Caribbean, Canada, and all over the USA. Have detector, will travel!

Duncan Bell

Duncan started detecting in 1980 with a Tesoro Golden Sabre big box detector. His first find was a 14kt ring with a diamond chip! It was a great start and he has found even better treasure since. His favorite place to detect is under water with scuba gear. Fortunately he lives in beautiful North Idaho which has lots of lakes and beaches. He also loves wading and general treasure hunting. He is the current president of the NWTH Club and is also a co-chairman for the 50th Annual Hunt to be held next year. Duncan travels a lot with Clay and has also been to England, Canada, and the Caribbean several times. Now that he retired from his real job, look out world!

Linda Scott

Linda has been detecting for over 30 years. She loves to hunt older homes, parks, beaches, and in the water. Although she can’t always travel to the faraway places, she has been to England once and Canada many times. She will be on the road many more times with her detector. She is our AT Pro expert and has found some great stuff with it! She’s also a very active member of our Club and has run the Coin Point Challenge contest for our club for many years. She also runs the registration for our annual hunt. Look for her and her motorhome around the country!

Garry Wormwood

Garry is our Go-To Guy at Pine Street Market. If we are out detecting, Garry is the one who gets stuck at the store! He can answer most questions about detectors and detecting. Garry has been detecting for several years, but just doesn’t get to go as often as he would like. All of our stock at Pine Street Market is for sale even if one of us is not there. The people there are very happy to help.
